We set out on this adventure in Spring 2025 with the intention of finishing in four days... but the Canyon had different plans for us! The tough terrain and invisible trails made us fall behind and we came out of the canyon on Day 5
Day 1 - Lipion Point to Tanner Creek: This is called a route and not a trail because there are areas where there is no trail! Our group of nine, ages 15 to 53 set out on this adventure early, but we did not make it to the river until after dark. Some got lost for a bit, some got injured, but we all made it to the bottom of The Grand Canyon!
Day 2 - Tanner Creek to Escalante Creek: Day 2 of our adventure took us along steep inclines that tested our nerves and abilities. An attempt at a shortcut proved to be a bad idea, and we made it to camp after dark.
